One of My Dream Houses: Rotterdam, Netherlands Bookcase Canal House By Architectural Firm Shift

One of my dream homes, this house has just about everything in it I could want: a crazy amount of shelf space (which in turn gives it perfect library-habitat mood), open floorplan with lofts, staircases, and interesting, mod architectural features, and lots of windows and light.

If it was for me though, I would want it in a tropical location, a lot more space between neighbors, several (larger) bathrooms, and decor that is not so starkly minimalistic. Some built in planters and water features would be nice. Also, CARD CATALOGS! Still, what a fabulous, fabulous house! One of my all-time favorite living spaces that is not now a museum.
