Ceci N’Est Pas Seul Un Tableau D’Une Chaise (YOY Canvas Print Stretchy Chair With Real Seat Behind)

Today’s topic is pranking. Pranking in a well-planned way. Pranking DESIGNER STYLE.

Except maybe this…

The mischievous part of me can not love the concept of this chair more than it already does. *__*

Can you imagine having people over? *waving hand in the direction of one of the pictures leaning against the wall* “Please, have a seat.”

Getting their reaction on candid camera. Recording their expression when you back into one and plunk down.

Hee, hee.

The title is a reference to this undeservingly famous painting, “The Treachery of Images” also known as “La Trahison Des Images” and “Ceci N’Est Pas Une Pipe” (“This Is Not A Pipe”–get it? because it is a painting of a pipe. The title of this post means: “This is not only a picture of a chair”. I mean, it IS a picture of a chair, but it is a functional seat too. hmm.

BONUS ROUND:

Check out Improv Everywhere, a group after my own heart:

(This is just a small sample, they have tons of great “pranks”, but they are good pranks that brighten people’s day. This is the first Improv  Everywhere video I saw.)
